The English 8 Pool, also called Blackball
The 8 Pool billiard table, also called Blackball or English billiard table, originates from England. Its dimensions are small (2.12m long and 1.06m wide) because it was born in English bars whose rooms are known to be small.
It is played with 15 balls, 7 of which are red and 7 are yellow. The last one is black and has the number 8, it must be pocketed once the 7 balls of your color are gone.
The English 8 Pool billiard signed Toulet is a very technical billiard used in official competitions. But this one can also be a very design, contemporary or classic billiard table to be integrated very easily in your interior decoration.
How to play it ?
At the beginning of the game, it is the “break” of the 15 balls placed in the triangle that will determine your color. Once a marble is pocketed in one of the 6 holes of the table, you continue to play until all the marbles of your color are pocketed. All you have to do is pocket the black 8-ball. And you win!
If you pocket the black ball before all the balls of your color have disappeared from the table, you lose the game.
Note that to play 8 Pool, you need a special cue. Indeed, for more precision, Billards Toulet teams advise you to use a cue with a 8 to 9 mm diameter ferrule.
