Completely renovated in 2020, the Victoria Palace Hotel offers a warm experience in an intimate and refined setting. Opened in 1913, the Victoria Palace Hotel has won over many personalities over the decades. Irish writer and poet James Joyce, for example, stayed at the hotel for over a year. It is assumed that he inspired the name of the hotel bar : the James Bar. Brazilian football player Pelé and American astronaut Neil Armstrong also stayed at the hotel.
Taken over in 2018 by the Wargny family, the hotel takes the turn of modernism while remaining faithful to its history. Major renovations are underway at the end of 2019. The elegance of its lines and the refinement of the wood blend perfectly into the emblematic place. The choice fell on a vintage wooden American billiard table and a petrol blue cloth. The colors go perfectly with the colorful and original decoration of the bar.
