PASCH and their design philosophy
Based in Düsseldorf, PASCH Design– founded by Armin Panahi and Randi Mara Schumacher – develops a multidisciplinary approach to high-end real estate design. Specializing in bespoke concepts, the studio works across exterior architecture, interior design, and product design, driven by a clear ambition: to create cohesive, powerful, and timeless projects.
Each project is conceived as a complete and unified whole. For PASCH, architecture and interior design are inseparable. Their work consists of identifying the unique potential of a place and revealing it through a carefully defined design language. This holistic approach establishes a strong aesthetic guideline that runs through every phase of the project, from initial concept to final presentation.
Their signature lies in the constant dialogue between large and small scales — between architectural structure and the finest interior detail. A philosophy that finds remarkable expression in THE 11DECKS COMMUNITY SPACES project, located in Hamburg, Germany.
THE 11DECKS, an immersive concept between elegance and sociability
With THE 11DECKS COMMUNITY SPACES, PASCH presents a visionary project that transforms shared areas into a true living experience. The agency’s work extends far beyond the communal zones: it shaped the entire interior design of the building — from private apartments to entrance halls and circulation areas — creating a strong and coherent overall identity.
From the earliest stages, the objective was clear: to design a high-end shared retreat that encourages gatherings, interaction, and connection, while also preserving spaces for calm and privacy. Eight distinct environments were created, including a fitness room, yoga area, co-working spaces, an exclusive club lounge, and a game room, among others.
Inspired by the building’s iconic architecture, reminiscent of a ship’s bow, PASCH Panahi & Schumacher drew from the refined world of luxury yachts. Flowing ceiling lines, organic shapes, and warm wooden surfaces infuse the spaces with harmonious dynamism, balancing movement and serenity.

Focus on layout and materials
A carefully mastered aesthetic down to the smallest detail
The building’s emblematic red concrete façade is echoed indoors through a carefully curated color palette. Shades of red and brown interact with natural wood and grey stone, creating a subtle yet warm tension.
In the fitness area, for example, mineral plaster in red tones, light oak elements, and expansive mirrors enhance brightness and the feeling of openness. Throughout the project, materials were selected for their quality, texture, and ability to enrich the sensory experience.
Attention to detail is one of the project’s key pillars. Numerous elements were custom-designed. The lighting concept, featuring artistically arranged ceiling installations, adds rhythm and depth to the volumes.
Every design decision contributes to the creation of an immersive atmosphere where aesthetics and functionality seamlessly merge.

Game Room: A signature Toulet piece
At the center of the community spaces, the game room fully embodies the spirit of the project: a vibrant and welcoming place designed to foster interaction among residents. It is a space to play, share convivial moments, laugh with friends, or celebrate major sporting events together.
Within this area dedicated to entertainment and relaxation, the billiard table naturally stands out as the focal point. To meet the project’s initial ambition — creating a premium shared space that encourages connection — PASCH Design sought a strong, high-quality piece capable of expressing the elegance and standards of the entire environment on its own.
Toulet therefore designed a fully customized Leather billiard table. The selected model is a 6ft English pool table, with proportions perfectly suited to the room’s configuration. Its frame and legs are upholstered in dark brown leather, harmonizing with the project’s warm palette dominated by shades of red, brown, and natural wood.
Every detail was imagined and validated in collaboration with PASCH to ensure absolute coherence with the interior architecture. The choice of leather — a noble and textured material — enhances the refined and sophisticated atmosphere of the game room while affirming the premium character of the piece.
More than a leisure element, the Leather billiard table becomes a true architectural feature. It structures the space, draws the eye, and creates a natural focal point. A symbol of conviviality and excellence, it perfectly embodies the meeting of bespoke design and Toulet craftsmanship.
Toulet, partner of exceptional projects
Through THE 11DECKS COMMUNITY SPACES, Toulet once again demonstrates its ability to support the most ambitious projects by offering customized creations tailored to the aesthetic and functional requirements of architects and designers.
Because exceptional living spaces deserve exceptional pieces, every Toulet game table is designed as a lasting work, created to bring people together and stand the test of time.
