INFINI is part of the direct continuity of Quentin Carnaille’s artistic research on time, perception, and invisible forces. Echoing the works Infini I and Infini II by the artist, this billiard table extends a reflection on depth, repetition, and irreversibility.
At the boundary between sculpture and functional object, it offers a new reading of billiards: a space where play becomes an experience, and where contemplation extends the gesture.
The structure, composed of mirrors, one-way glass, and taut geometric lines, creates a dizzying mise en abyme. The base, a work of art in its own right, captures and multiplies light, giving rise to infinite depth. The playable surface then appears to float, suspended above a volume that escapes traditional reference points, inviting the eye to lose itself in a play of reflections and perceptions.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Quentin Carnaille, a French visual artist with international recognition, has been developing for more than fifteen years a body of work at the crossroads of sculpture, installation, and engineering. Exhibited in galleries and exhibition spaces around the world, he creates works for both private collections and public spaces, where he regularly produces large-scale urban installations and monumental sculptures.
Trained as an architect, Quentin Carnaille conceives his creations as sensitive systems in which matter, light, and space engage in dialogue. His work explores notions of time, perception, and invisible forces, using mirrors, one-way glass, metal structures, and lighting devices to create immersive experiences. Whether monumental or intimate, his works invite the viewer to lose themselves in infinite depths and to question our relationship with the world.
Each creation is conceived as a singular work, combining technical rigor, artisanal excellence, and poetic and conceptual reflection, firmly positioning Quentin Carnaille’s work within a contemporary artistic approach recognized internationally.
